Facts About The Mysterious Vaping Illness
What to know about this serious, vape-associated lung problem striking healthy young people.

In some cases the illness and hospilizations appear to be linked to toxic additives in low quality vape liquids with THC from bootleg suppliers on the street, in China or elsewhere. Some have extremely harmful to inhale Vitamin E acetate.
Regardless many doctors and reputable scientists are recommending to not vape at all and if trying to quit smoking use the patches and other safe methods they recommend.
Many in the media are still running with this with fear mongeringand alarmist reports.
Some info from the CDC and Health Canada about this.
“To date, no single substance or e-cigarette product has been consistently associated with illness,” the CDC reported at the end of August. It has epidemiologists trying to crack the case.
There’s a possible connection to using e-cigarettes or vape pens to consume cannabis-derived products, but neither the CDC nor Health Canada is certain that’s the cause.
Canadians are reminded that the purchase of vaping products outside the legal market may create additional risk as these products are unregulated and potentially unsafe,
