More provinces join in class-action suit against opioid makers – The Globe and Mail

Family and friends who have lost loved ones to opioid overdoses leave pill bottles in protest outside the headquarters of Purdue Pharma on Aug. 17, 2018. The Attorney-General’s comments came on the same day as reports that Purdue Pharma LP and its owners, the Sackler family, are offering to settle more than 2,000 lawsuits against the company.
