With the net debt of the federal government over $.5 Trillion and annual deficits of over $30 Billion how is this sustainable?

They don’t pay into EI so if they want maternity leave they should pay into it and they should get the same percentage of reduction that any one else on EI gets not full pay. When they not travelling and working in Parliament regularly they will have less personal expenses.

They already very well compensated for the work they actually do and only lose $121 per day after 21 days if they do not attend Parliament the short periods it is in session.
