“Socialism” vs. “capitalism” is a false dichotomy

The US and Canada are already social democracies with a mix of socialism and capitalism. Countries with the right balance are getting among the highest qualities of life and better value for money from tax dollars.

Canada and the US are behind in this regard mainly due to greed, unethical influence and corruption.

Would it not be more constructive to use less divisive discourse to try and tackle the top issues having the most negative impact?

Here is a good article that is unbiased for the most part which describes this false dichotomy and common misconceptions.
