For building cognition Suduko and similar puzzles, getting out more & enriched environment are shovels and exercise is a bulldozer.
Eating healthy including healthy fats and sleeping properly are the next best thing to exercise.
Do all of these and there is a huge multiplier effect.
If these are life long habits you will likely be a super senior but there is still hope for those that have not and consistently doing these will not only slow cognitive decline but can improve cognitive function.
